Friday Fashion: Spring Shopping Online- My Forever 21 Picks

With NYFW just having passed, all of the beautiful items arriving in the stores and all of the Spring buzz on fashion blogs everywhere, I have been doing quite a bit of thinking about Spring shopping! I have even managed a few little purchases to prepare for the lovely warm season ahead of us. I have definitely have mentioned it before but I don't really love shopping that much. If I do need to go out to the stores instead of shopping online then I try to get it all done in one day so that I don't have to go back again for a little while. So shopping online can sometimes become very useful. Here is my shopping strategy in general:

1) I like to start early to avoid unwanted stress and slowly find the pieces I surely love from my favorite stores. After browsing through online shops I create wish lists (like the one below) of all the items I like and can see as good additions for the seasons wardrobe. I then choose some pieces from each store that I must have and add them to my cart. I love opening all of the boxes as they arrive!

3) I investigate the trends and see which ones I would like to include and which are just not going to happen. I then pick up a couple of pieces from each of those trends whether it be a dress, a skirt, a top, a necklace or a purse. 

4) Lots of basics are a must- i:e lots of colored shells from Kiki Riki (those are my favorites) which can make a look instantly. A really fantastic black pencil skirt, a neutral colored purse, a pair of black flats. These are pieces that will go with almost anything and don't have to be super expensive or thought out to make a outfit perfect so those are must haves for sure!
