As you can see, I've decided to start a new DIY series that I will be adding on to from time to time. I've always really liked crafts and scrapbooking being an artists and woodworkers daughter, so this will definitely be fun. Here's my latest project. I wanted to make the side of my fridge a little more lively and organized. Until now it was covered in assorted magnets from all over the place I'm not even going to show what it looked like before as it was just a big mess. The whole front of the fridge was allotted for family pictures, I love looking at them whenever I go to open the fridge. This DIY project was inspired by an awesome blog called {ISPYDIY} she did a post recently that was full of diy refrigerator magnet ideas (one of them was these painted clothespins). As I've been wanting to do something to add some cheer and organize that space for a while now I decided to try it. Here's what I did to add a little spunk to the side of my refrigerator:
All finished. I think they definitely added something cute and I am so happy to be rid of the clutter. I used some of the paint I had leftover from when I painted the letters of my sons name that we hung in his nursery when he was born. The rest of the items were easy to find at the local craft store. The "G" stands for Gigi of course and both of those drawings were done by mom!
